Typo 5.4.4 Released
The Typo 5.4.x Willy Ronis series is a major release for Typo. One of the main tasks is to simplify this blogging engine with less useless feature, simpler, better interface, and lighter memory footprint.

The improvement made to Typo 5.4.4 are:
- New and easier setup: just provide an email and a blog title, and it is done
- A re-work of admin using JQuery UI
- Removed IPs and pattern blacklist
- Removed iTunes metadata support for podcast publishers
- Cookie sessions instead of SQL stored sessions
- and many bug fixes
Typo is being translated into several languages, currently it has German, English US, Spanish Mexico, French, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Polish, Romanian and Chinese Taiwan translations.
Typo is a free open source Ruby on Rails blogging software, it supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite. Typo is licensed under MIT MIT-License.
Typo and Typo3 are two different open source content management system.
