The Apache Tomcat Project announces the release of version 6.0.26 of Apache Tomcat, on 11 March 2010. This release includes many bugfixes over Apache Tomcat 6.0.24.

Apache Tomcat (or Jakarta Tomcat or simply Tomcat) is an open source software implementation of the Java Servlet and JavaServer Pages (JSP) technologies and provides a "pure Java" HTTP web server environment for Java code to run.
