Midgard “Ragnaroek” 8.09.8 Released
The Midgard Project has released the eighth maintenance release of Midgard 8.09 Ragnaroek LTS. Ragnaroek LTS is a Long Term Support version of the free software Content Management Framework.
The stable 8.09.8 release is recommended for all users of Midgard.

Midgard Project was started in 1998 in Finland. Development of the Midgard Content Management System is an open process which interested users and developers can participate in.
Midgard is an industrial CMS built on top of a Content Repository and the LAMP stack. It provides object-oriented PHP APIs for developing and modifying website functionality, and a PEAR-based system for installing new web components from a growing online library. Midgard has been running since 1999 on systems ranging from simple organizational websites to complex web communities and corporate management tools, in organizations like Aalto University, Nokia, Lufthansa, Poland International Fairs and CMS Watch.
Midgard has seen some non-Web use also, including providing synchronization with the Tomboy note-taking application for Linux desktop.
