DotNetNuke 5.3.1 Released

DotNetNuke 5.3.1 release was focused on fixing 3 significant issues with the 5.3.0 release which caused the developer to remove the release from CodePlex and our DotNetNuke Support Network.

Major Highlights:

  • Issue fixed where Newsletter module only sent SMTP test email.
  • Issue fixed with signature change to Synchronize Folders methods.
  • Fixed the issue with the email notifications where the From and To addresses were swapped.

XML Module 04.03.05 has been updated in the 5.3.1 packages.

DotNetNuke is an open source platform for building web sites based on Microsoft .NET technology. It is written in VB.NET and distributed under both a Community Edition BSD-style license and a Professional Edition proprietary license.

The DotNetNuke Corporation provides an open source version of DotNetNuke called the Community Edition. It includes access to the source code of the framework and basic modules, and an MIT license allowing flexible modification and distribution rights. There are also business-oriented commercial editions of the software with premium functionality and technical support options.

DotNetNuke 5.3.1 was released on 24 March 2010 and is now available for download.
