Battle for Wesnoth 1.8 Released
Wesnoth stable release Battle for Wesnoth 1.8 has been released.
New in Wesnoth 1.8:
- A new campaign, Delfador’s Memoirs
- Hundreds of new and revised unit portraits
- 5 new music tracks
- some user interface (UI) redesign
- substantial improvements in the game’s Artificial intelligence (AI)
- Multiplayer
- Sidebar tuned for usability

- Add-on descriptions are now accessible from the add-on download dialog

The Battle for Wesnoth is a Free, turn-based tactical strategy game with a high fantasy theme, featuring both single-player, and online/hotseat multiplayer combat.
Wesnoth 1.8 was released on 01 April. The Battle for Wesnoth is cross-platform, it is available on MS Windows, Mac OS X (10.4+), GNU/Linux. It is released under the GNU General Public License.
